1. The American owners have given Kenny one year in which to win the Charity Cup, the F.A. Cup and also get into the top four of the league. He and the team won the Charity Cup. They got to the finals of the F.A. Cup. They where eighth in the league. Not fighting to stay in the Premier league as when he took over. For me he has done well for his first full year. I am 100% sure next season would have been much better if given both the time and support. I would question that when the owners ick a new manager. Will they expect him to aceive there results in the same time period? And if they dont can we expect them to sell Liverpool Football Club at the end of the season because there expectations didnt happen. So that Liverpool can get back on track. Of course they wont. Its typical of the American Companies to blame other people and not themselves. We know this from both the previous owners and also Mr Lerner the owner of Aston Villa F.C. whos must be now wishing he left a brilliant manager of Martin O Neal go else where. Such is the problem of American owners not understanding British Football Clubs and only carrying about making money. I am so sad to see Kenny leave. Signed An ex Liverpool supporter.

  2. Before fans hangout the owners to dry for sacking Kenny, I think they should absorb his particular comments in relation to the owners :-
"I can say that the matter has been handled by the owners and all concerned in an honourable, respectful and dignified way and reflects on the quality of the people involved and their continued desire to move the football club forward in the same way as when they arrived here."

In some ways it is a form of blessing from Kenny, to support the owners .
